This is a new tattoo design I drew/ painted for my apprenticeship portfolio. It's a pretty standard, traditional thing. Tried to keep to only 3 colors, plus black.
This is not an owl. It is, however, the start of an idea for a very simple tattoo. I'm sort of stuck on on scaly textures at the moment, so maybe I'll post a couple more snakes or scaled beasts. One thing is for certain: this guy needs a background. I'm not sure how to go about doing that yet, but I'm wondering if grayscale streaks/ blocks would look good at all? The finished thing will be on my dA. I need your feedback, please!
